The TDA8924TH is a high-efficiency, Class-D audio power amplifier designed for applications requiring high output power with minimal heat dissipation. This 2 x 120 W amplifier operates in stereo mode with a 2 Ω load or in mono bridge-tied load (BTL) configuration for increased power.
It features low quiescent current, excellent ripple rejection, and internal protections against over-temperature and short circuits, making it ideal for use in television sets, multimedia systems, home audio, automotive sound systems, and other high-demand audio applications. The TDA8924TH comes in an HSOP24 package with a built-in heatsink, allowing for robust operation even under extended use.
